CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS AND ABSTRACTS (SPORT MANAGEMENT TOPICS AND RESEARCH PROPOSALS)

 

Dear Professors and Fellow Sport Educators,

 

The Kentucky Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD) welcomes the submission of abstracts for its 2010 annual convention to be held in Embassy Suite, Lexington, Kentucky. The goal of the convention is to provide students, scholars, and sport practitioners with a public forum to discuss relevant and timely sport- and health-related issues and topics. KAHPERD sincerely encourages the students to submit research proposal or presentation ideas.

 

*SUBMISSION GUIDELINE:*

    

Please specify your submission by selecting one of the following tracks.

 

(1)Sport management; or

(2)Research Poster (Research topics or presentation related to physical education, health- and sport-related issues, and recreation activities or dance are highly encouraged).

 

All abstracts MUST be submitted electronically. Please go to http://www.kahperd.com/07/index.asp?pageID=26&pageDetails=104 to obtain additional information and complete the brief proposal description and personal information (25 words or less)

 

Abstracts should NOT be submitted later than March 1, 2010 (Monday, 11:59 p.m. EST). They will be reviewed by the Vice President of General and section chairs to determine acceptance. You may also send you submission to Steve Chen (s.chen@morehead-st.edu) with a Microsoft Word document.

   

Submission of abstract(s) indicates the intent of the presenter(s) to register for the conference at the appropriate registration fee.
